This is the highest vantage point above the clan's burrows and Halostrand is ready. A sentinel. A guardian. A keeper of the...wait. No. It's contemplating the slope below and getting ready to tuck its fibrous limbs in, duck its head, and form a perfect sphere that will cascade down the dune and, with luck, roll straight up to the top of the next one. This Munchable is supposed to be looking out for patches of cosmic dust, but it's far more interested in the adrenaline rush of the rolling dunes.
